Yay! Only SIX more days of school left! Woo hoo! I am so excited to get to go home for the summer, and hopefully for next school year! I have an interview on Tuesday, May 26th at 11am, so please be praying for me! It is for a High School position about 35 minutes from home! Mentally, I have the job, a place to live, and more money than I can spend. haha And none of that has even happened. In reality, the job doesn't pay much more than the one I've got, but that's okay, I'll be close to home!
It's funny how all of us teachers and the students are soooooo ready for summer. Once spring hits the kiddos start losing their marbles, which often sends me looking for mine! The next week is going to be extremely challenging. Tomorrow, for instance, is Fun Day. I plan on having fun...I volunteered for the dunking booth! haha I know, I'm asking for it! I am going to be exhausted by the time I leave and then I've got to go home and shower and get ready to go to Brady's and then to dinner for her birthday! My friend Brady and her family have been a huge blessing this year, I am truly blessed that they have taken me in as one of their own. We are spending the entire weekend on the lake, so while you are praying for my job, pray that it doesn't rain.
1. We don't need anymore rain at the moment, the rivers are still flooded.
2. Who wants to go to the lake in the rain?!?!?
After a long weekend of fun on the lake I get to drive home to Mom and Dad's for the night and then back to Morrilton for my interview Tuesday! Talk about tired! I can't wait though! After that, five more days of school!
Yay! I am sad that we are having to make up days for being out of school...which means I won't be able to ride out to Utah with Zach and Leslie. And if I get to move there is no way I can afford to fly! Maybe next year! : (
If everything goes well in the interview, maybe I'll not only be able to clean my classroom, but pack all of my own stuff and come home for good!
