I don't know why this post has been so hard to write...really I don't. There is so much to say and yet, I have no words. I'll give you the basics, maybe I'll come up with a more poetic way to say it later.
Basics: Mom and Dad got married. Thirty years ago this Sunday. They had kids. We grew up. Decided that such great parents needed to be celebrated! So a couple of weeks ago we decided to throw a surprise party. It all came together this past Saturday.
Results: 51 people yelling surprise as they walked in the door.
Evidence: Mom hiding from the camera.
Hopefully I will be able to put my brain together later. We'll see.
I do want to say: I'm sorry we didn't have the foresight to plan this a long time ago and invite the rest of the family! We really miss you!
Love you all!

Actually, there were more results. Dinner, for instance. And cake, and presents, and a nice poem that one of the ladies at church wrote. A good time was had by all!
