November, week 1

Well, we finally got moved into the new apartment! Yay! So glad to be out of the ghetto. You all should know, I'm not particular about who lives around me or where they came from. What I am concerned with is whether or not the UPS guy can leave a package by the door without it being stolen. Also, I don't particularly enjoy stepping out of my apartment and hear two people yelling (and cussing) at each other from across the street. Those things combined with sub-par facilities=time to move. So we did. :)

I am going to be looking into hiring movers when I leave here in May though. A three bedroom apartment on the second floor. What were we thinking?! Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're here, but WHEW, that was rough. I'm going to take the soreness to a new level though. I'm going to enjoy it and start working out again! I'm already halfway through the worst part! (Being sore.)

I decided to take the "Count your Blessings" challenge on Facebook for the month of November. I have been kind of grumpy and short tempered lately, so I thought it would be a good idea to remember on a daily basis what I have to be thankful for. The hard part is only posting one thing per day!
Week 1
Day 1 I'm thankful for finally getting to my maintenance dose with my allergy shots!
Day 2: I'm thankful for the opportunity to go to the AAE conference and learn from other Art Teachers in the state.
Day 3: I am thankful I'm a morning person! :)
Day 4: I am so thankful for the many undeserved (they all are) blessings God has given me.
Day 5: Thankful for having nearly everything moved! Thanks John and neighbor josh!
Day 6: I'm thankful that we live in a country where we are free to choose. (and I'm thankful that I can function this morning, albeit very slowly.)
Day 7: today I am thankful for people who are more reasonable than I originally thought. I guess I need to work on that!
