Well...today has been quite full! (And I am quite full as well!)
Here's a little view of my goings-on for the day:
I met Rocket, Katie's pet fox. Do you think he earned it? Or is it just coincidence?
I came home and cleaned and painted my garage sale chair...It's going to need a second coat though. I found this upholstery spray paint on Amazon that actually allows the fabric to remain soft! I can't wait to have my chair finished and in my living room!
Dad got home for lunch and we were just about to sit at the table to eat and he looked out the window and said...There's a cow in our yard. Oh! There's two cows in the yard! So we chased cows around the yard for a little while and then into the neighbors pasture with their cows...and then called around to find out who they belonged to. After a while another neighbor came by to get them. So we herded them through the back yard again!
(These are not actually the cattle we had to get rid of...these belong to our neighbors, but we did run them around the pasture a few times trying to cut out the two infiltrators though!) (I forgot to get pics of that episode.)
We were celebrating Dad's birthday with steak, potatoes and stuff...and pie and ice cream for dessert. I handled the steaks...and Mom did all the rest. :)
My perfectly Medium Rare steak. Yum!
After dinner, Dad decided that he was going to go finish digging a post hole in the back pasture. He started it the other day, but ran into a big huge rock. So he decided the best way to finish the job was to make sure that rock didn't get the best of him...
The rock was defeated.
And I ran into this adorable guy on my way out to see how Dad was faring against the rock:
Nugget is our other dog. Yes, yes...I know he looks like a cat, but I swear....he acts more like a dog most of the time.
So how was your Saturday?
