Random

So, I decided to try and make the blog a little prettier...and had to rearrange a little, and lost some things. haha I'm still trying to figure all this out. I wish I knew how to write HTML stuff. Wishful thinking won't get me far though.

I'm sure that most of you didn't know I have been having shoulder problems. But I've been pretty much given the all clear, aside from some physical therapy. I had hurt my shoulder in the most minor of car wrecks in April of '07 (a girl ran a stop sign and smudged my car.) Somehow it really hurt me. I thought I had torn my rotator cuff, but I actually just injured it a little and then apparently I developed tendinitis, which I just found out Friday (Oct. 10th.) So hopefully the physical therapy will help to build the muscles back up so that the tendinitis doesn't get any worse.

School is going good this year. I am still in Crossett, which is 4 hours from home. It is much better than last year though. I feel like I have a better idea of what I am doing and I'm enjoying it more. I also have a few good friends from my NTL (Non-Traditional Licensure) classes that I hang out with pretty regularly and a roommate that keeps me entertained. I found out today that I passed my PLT, my last paper-based test before I get observed and can finally get my standard teaching license. YAY! I was actually kind of shocked, after the test I felt I had surely failed...miserably really, but no! I hope to get a job closer to home next year. I think it will be a little easier on me because I will actually have my standard 5 year license...really I could get a teaching job almost anywhere! I will be sending out my applications right after we get back from Christmas break so hopefully I will get a jump on everything.

I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving Break, we actually get a whole week off for Thanksgiving! And because it is a little later this year we only have three weeks till Christmas Break after that! 2 more weeks! Woohoo! I know, most people don't get breaks like we do...but if you did what we do, you would need it too! lol Just think if you had 22 of your own children for 8 hours every day. Or better yet, my job, I have 5 classes each day with that many kids in each...whole new personalities and problems to get used to every 40 minutes! And the last class I have for 80 minutes...talk about a handful. Oh...and did I mention we are doing artwork?!?! hahaha I w0nder sometimes (as I'm sure some other do as well) whether or not I've lost my mind. Who knows!?!? (Today might be one of those days where I actually did. haha)

Thank you. There are days that I really feel like I did something, they aren't all crazy.

I love the way you put that, yay GOD! You are so right. I know there were a lot of people out there praying for me about my shoulder. HE truly is amazing!

Sweety,
You're going to have to 'fix' the blog again. The trees are beautiful but, I can't read any more. Also, please send me instructions on how to post pictures....I've lost mine. Thanks, Mom
