I'm glad to report that we had another good Christmas! Things were a little hectic, both Mom and Dad had to work for a little while on Christmas morning, which left me getting things ready for breakfast and lunch. I enjoyed it though...until we started running out of time! We've kept the Christmas breakfast casserole tradition alive here in Arkansas. So it was Me, Mom, Dad, Zach, Leslie, Mary Metz and Aaron. Occasionally some of Mary's family has also joined us for breakfast the last few years. I've always loved feeding people so my motto is 'the more the merrier'! (I think I've heard it before...)
We had a fun time at Mamaw's. We decided to play 'Dirty Santa' and it all started out really almost too nice...until I stole what I wanted from Mom...it started a wave of thievery throughout the group. hahaha At Thanksgiving we voted on what we wanted to eat for Christmas...and I got out voted :( I wanted Mexican, but everyone else pretty much voted for BBQ. (Which was a really good second! haha) As always everyone enjoyed lunch and went away quite full and with plenty of leftovers. We've decided that next year we will all combine our money that we would have spent on Christmas for the extended family and contribute to the Heifer project. I think it is an absolutely wonderful thing to contribute to. Instead of messing up the description...I'll leave you with a link, go check it out at http://www.heifer.org This is an organization that you can donate to any time of year, not just at Christmas!
I'll update you on family after Dad gets up from his nap! I want to make sure that I get everything as current as possible! (We're all fine though!)
Love and miss you all!

I'm so glad you had a great Christmas! I did get to talk to your Dad for a minute, so that was fun!
I'm jealous, you get to make Christmas morning casserole. I haven't had any luck cooking an edible meal in our apartment yet. Didn't even attempt a Christmas dinner of any kind. Luckily, I've gotten ahold of a 220v crockpot, so once a week I'm able to throw something in it. We'll shoot for the bfast cass. next Christmas though. I can taste it already! Love and miss you all! Joyce.
yay, we do Christmas casserole out here in Cali also! I made an eggs benedict casserole, yum!
I got your back w/Mexican food though! I totally would vote for you, in fact, I'm gonna request it for my birthday this Saturday!
Love you guys, Happy New Year!
