Finally, I am one class away from being completely through with my teacher certification! This past week has been super stressful. I am always the procrastinator and put off working on my portfolio until the week that it was due. (Not smart) This wasn't the best thing I could do because I scheduled my Praxis III Observation for Friday (the day before class.) That is the final 'test' for all teachers. The State sends someone to interview and observe you in class. They take all the evidence that they write down and grade you on it. Basically your career hangs in the balance until you get your results. Thankfully, they have about a 98% pass rate...so you have to be a complete nincompoop not to pass. Anyway, I'm so glad to have that over with, and I'm thankful for the prayers said on my behalf. Even though I was a nervous wreck all week I walk calm, cool and collected during my interviews and observation. I know God had to have a hand in that, because I couldn't shake the nervousness alone!
I'm looking forward to finally getting the whole summer off. The last two years I've had class for 3 weeks of the summer. Although...I'm seriously contemplating taking some classes to get a little bump in my pay and to get my mind back on creating artwork!

CONGRATULATIONS! I'm sure you passed with flying colors, but...NO classes this summer! You must get on a plane and come to GERMANY instead!!! I mean it! (And bring the rest of your family with you.) Aunt Joyce.

Thanks! I love the word nincompoop too! And it must be a word because spell check didn't catch it! I would love to travel this summer...but you really need money for that...I've GOT to pay off some debt first! Soon though!
