I'm sorry, do we live in Antarctica?

It is so cold. I know, I'm sure it is warmer here than anywhere else this is being read. But darn it, it's cold! They said the high might be above freezing today, but I doubt it. It got down to 14* last night. Brrrrr. The house isn't too bad now that we've figured out we have to double team the heat. We have the window unit heater on AND the gas heater. (Which, for a reason I still can't figure out, are in the same room.) It works out for now. The gas heater heats that room and the window unit pushes the heat around most of the house.

I'm really not concerned anymore about me and the dog staying warm. Not after I realized our pipes are freezing. Even the drain pipes! How do I know? The water that we have left dripping for the last few days is filling up the sinks. Needless to say, we have dishes that need washing and clothes that need washing. I was going to attempt to wash the clothes but as I pulled the knob to start the washer, all I got was a little groaning. (I thought I was the only one who groaned when doing chores!) So...now I'm running out of essentials and I'm going to have to bug someone into letting me wash my clothes at their house. (Not really...I want to visit Brady and I'm sure she won't care one bit if I do my laundry at the same time. :) )

There really will be pictures of the house soon...I have been working hard all day cleaning and organizing because I'm tired of not. lol

Please pray my pipes don't actually burst. That would stink even more than it already does. :)
