School is officially out for Summer. Thank goodness! I think we should have dismissed in April, the kids were 'done' then anyway! I love my job, but sometimes it is harder than it should be! lol

I am in the process of getting ready to go home for the summer. It makes me feel like I'm still in college. This town is so small and there isn't anything to do, not that I "do" anything when I go home either. But at least there I get to see my family! I think this summer is going to be really great because I won't have to drive to town to see Zach and Leslie or Katie and Bryan and the kids. They all live on Mom and Dad's road now! (I'm the only one missing...)

Back to the getting ready part. Ugh. I really don't like trying to decide what I might want to do while I'm home. I end up taking way too much stuff and don't DO any of it. I'm packing some reading material, yarn and hooks, drawing implements, my bicycle (of course!) and various odds and ends. On top of all of that, I need to make sure I have EVERYTHING I will need for the road trip. Some of that is at Mom and Dad's but I don't want to have to drive back down here to get something I really might need. I've been making list after list, after list. I am so ready for that road trip.

I already have our path mapped out. Hehe.

I even have phone numbers for hotels and KOA's along the way. The only thing I don't know is what all we will be doing while we are in Layton. I kind of left that mostly blank on purpose. We will be there just in time for Fourth of July! Yay! I am getting super excited. I still have so much to do to prepare, (like take my car in for a tune up) but I am ready! I can't wait to see everyone!!!!
