a Yarn-oholic.
They say that admitting you have a problem is the first step...so there it is. I admit, I have a problem.
What you see here is my stash...most of which I just bought extra for a project and have leftovers, or wanted to start something new...or I just thought it was pretty/soft/fun. (aka: MUST HAVE) Some days I feel like I'm the cookie monster...but I must be on crack or something because instead of cookies I want yarn. Every time I turn around I'm looking at a yarn website, or crochet patterns, or knit patterns...not that I knit very well, but I can dream.
My other problem...besides buying too much yarn....is not finishing projects. : ( I did just finish a blanket for Katie's oldest Annie, who just turned 5. She is already hauling it around wherever she goes. (Yay!) And as soon as I figure out how to get the picture off of my phone onto the computer, I'll post it. Haha I am about to start a Crochet-A-Long from the Bernat (a yarn company) blog. They will post the first set of instructions on Wednesday. I am so excited.
This is the yarn I will be using to make the Afghan. I'm excited because the overall pattern is a mystery. They will post new instructions each week for the next 12 weeks...until you finish them all...you won't know what it looks like! Like I said...I can't wait!
So I'm off to try and finish another project before they post instructions on Wednesday!

Yep, that's a pretty weird obsession, but you know? We ALL have something hiding in our closet. Me? I gather "doo-dads" for scrap booking, then I "get ready to get ready"...nothing ever gets done, but BOY do I have a lot of cool stuff! =D
