Road Trip 2010 - Days 8 & 9

Today was fun. We went to Grandma’s this morning and then to the bank. Yay! Less debt! Sort of. Then we went to the station to catch the FrontRunner, the train that goes from Salt Lake to Ogden. We rode the train to Salt Lake where we met up with the Leatham’s and went to the Gateway. It is a really neat outdoor mall. We had lunch with the Leatham's and Danni and then went shopping. We aren’t very good tourists because we spend most of our time shopping. Hehe

We rode the Trax up to Uof U to see the caldron? Whatever they call the giant torch from the Olympics. And Checked out the Olympic stuff they had there. That was cool. Makes me wish I actually sat down to watch them every now and then! After that we went to Temple Square. I always love the architecture. This time I was tired though and ready to leave. Lol I’m such a sad tourist.

The outdoor mall has a water fountain playground (?)...can't remember what it is called. Sad. Haha It was neat. Fun to watch the kids run through and get blasted!
